Türkiye Scholarships offers a range of programs designed for each level of study, providing different forms of support, ranging from full-time degrees to short-term specialized programs as well as tailored and partnered programs for specific target groups.

Candidates are provided a university and academic program guide through Türkiye Scholarships Information System (TBBS) during their application process. The universities and programs offered can also be accessed through our comprehensive search engine

 

 

Full-time programs

These programs refer to full-time degree awards which include Bachelor’s, Master’s and PhD courses.

 
  • Undergraduate Scholarship Program 

    is specifically designed for Bachelor’s degree applicants in designated courses from engineering to health sciences, humanities to social sciences.

 
  • Programs offered in undergraduate level are provided in a guide which you can access in our website as well as during application in the application system.
  • Almost all fields of education are offered except for two-year associate or vocational degrees.
  • Please check the validity and equivalency of the programs/universities/fields you have selected in your country before sending your application.
  • For available departments and universities please check our website’s search engine or the guide provided in the system.

 
  • Postgraduate Scholarship Program

    offers a wide range of programs across social sciences, humanities, natural sciences and engineering at Master’s and PhD levels.

 
  • Programs offered in postgraduate level are provided in a guide which you can access in our website as well as during application in the application system.
  • Almost all fields of education are offered except for specialization in health sciences.
  • Please check the validity and equivalency of the programs/universities/fields you have selected in your country before sending your application.
  • For available departments and universities please check our website’s search engine or the guide provided in the system.

 

  • Universities and departments which candidates can choose will be available according to the educational background of the candidate.

  • Candidates may only choose universities and departments available to them in the system. An additional choice of university or department that is not available in the system is not possible.

 

 

  •  Arts Scholarship Program 

    provides scholarship opportunities at bachelor’s, master’s and PhD levels for international students in the fields of music sciences, performing arts and fine at Ankara University of Music and Fine Arts at the language, master and doctorate levels.

Short-term programs refer to short-term support provided for a specific niche areas and target groups.

 
  • Success Scholarship Program (1 year) is specifically designed for students who are currently studying in Turkish universities with their own finances and have shown exceptional academic performance.

 
  • The program covers monthly stipend only. 


 
  • Research Scholarship Program (3-12 months): The program is designed to encourage international researchers and academicians to carry out collaborative academic research in their own fields with Turkish academicians in the most prestigious Turkish universities.

 
  • The program is available for PhD holders or PhD candidates at dissertation stage.
  • The program covers monthly stipend only.
  • Research Scholarship Program applications are received and evaluated over the course of four Application periods spread out all year round. Check out the application dates.



 

 
 
  • Turkish Language Programme for Public Officials and Academicians [KATİP] (8-10 months): This Program is designed for foreign public officials, diplomats, academicians and researchers who wish to learn Turkish and get closely familiar with Turkey.

 
  • Applications of KATİP program are not open to public and are recieved through Turkish Embassies in the respective countries.
  • The program covers monthly stipend and dormitory.







Partnered programs refer to specially tailored programs with specific themes or target groups, provided in cooperation with international organizations or other government institutions.

 
  • Prof. Dr. Fuat Sezgin History of Science Scholarship Program

Honoring the memory and extensive work of Prof. Fuat Sezgin in the field of History of Science, the year 2019 has been declared “Prof. Dr. Fuat Sezgin History of Science Year” where numerous programs and activities will be held in this scope throughout the year.

As Türkiye Scholarships, a joint scholarship program under the name “Prof. Dr. Fuat Sezgin History of Science Scholarship Program” is open for applicants who wish to study in the field of History of Science with special focus on Islamic Science History.
