THE INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS ACADEMY AWARDS: ART AND CULTURE
CONCEPT of COMPETITION:
We are well aware of that the international students studying in Turkey are very talented in art and they improve their skills either in International Students Academy or in independent courses. In order to award and encourage such attempts, The International Students Academy Awards: Art and Culture is launched.
THEMES AND CATEGORIES:
The themes are;
- YTB’s 10th Year
- Solidarity in Turkey from the Perspective of International Students:
“After hopelessness, there is so much hope/ After darkness, there is a brighter sun” (Mevlana Celaleddin-i Rumi)
The categories are;
- Short Film/Screenplay
- Photography
- Marbling/Caligraphy/Illumination
- Story/Poem/Essay
- Music Composition/ Music Instrumental Play/ Music Vocal
- Painting/Comics
WHO CAN APPLY?
International students studying in Turkish Universities at all levels of higher education.

- Announcement of Results: 26.10.2020
- Award Program: 30.10.2020

APPLICATION CRITERIA AND METHOD:
- The award entry should be sent to akademi@ytb.gov.tr with “International Student Academy Awards: Art and Culture” as subject of the e-mail, together with the applicants’ current CV, student certificate and
application form.
- Applicants can send multiple entry for the competition. For each entry, application form needs to be filled.
- The competition is open for team application. Each team member should identify his/her contribution to the work clearly. If a team entry is awarded, one award shall be shared among team members.
- Applicants should follow the specifications at www.turkiyeburslari.gov.tr website for each category.
- The submitted works must be one of a kind and not previously published, displayed or used in any competition/program before, as well as having no license, copyright, and publication agreements priorly accepted for that partciular piece of work.
- All publishing and distribution copyrights of the submitted work will belong to YTB.
